The department seeks to expand understanding of new and developing fields of dental technology, in addition to strengthening professional relationships within the dental technician team, as there is an increasing demand in Iraq (and abroad) for professional practitioners in this field.
Objectives |
The primary goal of the Bachelor of Dental Techniques degree is to establish the skills and theoretical knowledge necessary to build a successful career as dental technicians to be able to manufacture dental prosthetics with a high level of precision. This goal is achieved through the following:
1- Preparing and graduating skilled and efficient medical technical personnel with high levels of professionalism in order to serve the Meet.
2- Providing graduates with distinguished laboratory skills that enable them to manufacture complete and partial prosthetic teeth, crowns, bridges, and devices such as orthodontic appliances with high professionalism.
3- Carrying out the work of manufacturing and orthodontics and maxillofacial prosthetics in health institutions to meet the needs of Community needs.
4- Working to provide the scientific and academic community with the latest global technological developments in the field of Dental industry techniques.
5- Providing medical services directly to patients through dental consulting clinics.
6- Building communication channels and enhancing academic cooperation with scientific departments in the corresponding colleges.
